Prospect management in business should be considered as important as having the business itself because they are cells of the business just as every cells helps in the metabolism of human.

While you work on keeping a good prospect that is ready to invest on your products or services, you should also create a means of keeping the prospects on a return basis. Below are good ways to manage your prospects:

1. Track their information: As a business owner that is not afraid of growth,you need your prospects information for future references. In other words, get your customers information on a file e.g their names, addresses, phone numbers and most importantly their comments about your products/services.Note that sometimes your prospects will not enjoy the idea of submitting their information, you can win them by lecturing them on the basis of having your product and don’t forget to tell them that the information they submit are not made public in any way.

2. Exceed your customer’s expectation: Sell what they need first and a bit of what they want. Find a way to know the priorities of your prospect and use it as a means to know the area of his need and sell on it. Don’t forget to sell something of value to him, hence, you loose him.

3. Show a sense of gratitude: Nothing can saty in the place of gratitude and nothing can be a substitute to thanksgiving.Show a sense of gratitude to your prospects after a sale. You are indirectly telling them to buy more by thanking them for buying from you.

Another good way of showing gratitude in order to keep a healthy prospect management is by helping your prospect in the area of your expertise in times of need.

4. Reduce the stress: You can keep a good prospect management by delivering your products or services as the case may be, to your customers door step. This is a good way to have repeat customers especially at the days of start-up. Big companies offer this services but at a charge but you can do it at minimal charge or better still no charge. Your ability to per take in this service will always build and nourish your relationship with the customers.
