			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-375" title="marketing" src="http://smallbusinessdigest.info/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/marketing.jpg" alt="marketing" width="168" height="113" />We got a new product in the company, an ever wanted product, an exciting one to say but yet buyers of other similar product have not grow interest on it, in other words they have not demanded a satisfying quantity of it- Too annoying, that the head of our marketing team made a statement that motivated us all as a marketer. Guess what he said “<strong>let’s market for the first time ever</strong>” this means, we needed to market as if we have never marketed before to see our desired sales on this exciting product we have at hand. In a short note here is what we did:</p>
<ol>
<li><em><strong>Take an eye attracting dynamics picture of the product</strong></em>: we quickly pick up the digital camera and shut out a colorful picture of the product we needed to advertise in such a way that the layout was so eye catching and we expose different components that made up the products in the picture.</li>
<li><em><strong>Outlining the functions of the product components</strong></em>: The product itself has been known what it is used for, therefore stating it functionality again is a waste of time rather what we did is stating the functions of each components of the product, showing a better picture of recommendation through the statement of upgraded product. This means we tell the buyers why they need the product and as well show them in an image format the function of satisfaction when they lay their hand on the product</li>
<li><em><strong>Writing down the benefits</strong></em>: This is quite simple but some marketers got it wrong here as a result of trying to write what will create sales without minding satisfaction. The truth is that business is all about satisfaction. You and I will not transact business we did not derived satisfaction previously. So mind the way you write out the benefits of your new invented product as this can make or break your business. Here is what we did at this step. We asked what area of need this product covers in human community. Then, we out stated the benefits through the need of the product invention.</li>
<li><em><strong>We decided to paste the above steps on a hand distributed flyers</strong></em>: We knew advertising on places like the television stations, radios, newspapers and internet will increase sales but that is not what we ought to do as we have a large list of buyers in the company. Our plan is to get them informed and informed of what this product carries and why they must have it. This hand distributed flyers was made available at different locations in the company from the cashier, customer care to the director&#8217;s office. This is for easy flow of the flyers to customers that walk in for shopping.</li>
<li><em><strong>We send out a thanksgiving letter to our customers</strong></em>: You can’t imagine this but this is where we got it right. Sending an envelope containing a thanksgiving letter and a hand bill of the product, increased sales. We thank them for their initial visit and business they have done with us and as well recommend the new product to them.</li>
</ol>
<p>Here are good five steps we took that turn the newly invented product to hot cake in the market but above all, step four and five really surprise us irrespective of the fact that the whole step contributed to make our dream come true.</p>
<p>We succeeded this way because we dance on a large sales list. This helps us cut advertising budget but the disadvantageous side of this way of marketing is that you make sales to only already made customers. This means you are not making new customer at hand, which is not recommended for baby businesses. Rather if you happen to fall into the category of small business operators, from step four, you make sure you paste your flyers outside different places for awareness or better still if you have the money, you use media to reach your marketing goal.</p>

<p>Being the first day of the year, the author sees the need of motivating his readers for business exploits. This article you are about to read has its foundation on motivation. Let’s begin</p>
<p>Your level of accepting responsibilities determines the result you get in life. My mentor David .0. Oyedepo  of winners chapel, put it this way, that life is not a playfare but a warfare. Until you war with the issues concerning you, you are not coming out outstanding.  What makes you never come successful the previous year is as a result of your low understanding to how things work.  To always keep you on track, here is a simple quote I will like you to remember for the rest of this year “whatever thing you desire, lookout for those that already have it and implement the same step they applied” Very simple. I personally am a living witness to the above truth and I have been using it for some years now and it work like magic. I believe I don’t have to live all the days of my life trying things to work rather I search for someone successful on it I do what he/she does.</p>
<p>There is no future in the past and as we can’t see with darkness so we cannot do anything to change the story of the past but the good news is that there is something to do now that guarantee a better story tomorrow. Here is the picture, your tomorrow matters. Therefore, stop thinking about the past invest the energy to create a better tomorrow. After the cross over night, the author decided to break his year in details and to walk on written plans as he has always been doing for years. He themed the year “WALKING IN THE PLATFORM OF PURPOSE” Knowing that he needed a cogent purpose for every step and a strong reason for every action. My dear readers, have you themed your year? Or do you still want to wallow on the same way like your previous year. It is a personal life decision. You know what you want therefore go get it. Don’t remain the same way you are but plan your year to success.  Listen, learning from our mistakes is a good bearing point for startup because mistakes are always there and will always be there that we may learn from it. To call a year a name is very necessary. It does not only guide you but it also opens your eye of vision for greater accomplishment. THIS WILL BE YOUR BEST YEAR EVER!</p>
<p>Planning is very crucial if you want to see a prosperous year. Don’t walk like the blind that have no eyes hence knew nothing about the happenings within him. You and I are privilege to have eyes but a number of us can’t see. therefore, they fall a victim of the blind. Plan your year to success! Secure a plan sheet and write down what you desire for the year, make it a way of life to always read your plans every morning on waking up from bed and every night on going to bed. Don’t just read but make sure a day never pass you by without you drawing near to the most priorities in your plan. The truth is that our mind has no limit to the level of accomplishment, it always and will always work on the vibration of thought we allow to flow in it. The author calls this form of the mind operation a <strong>give</strong> and <strong>take</strong> style of operation. It gives you whatever you deliver to him.  I was privileged to be a student of Napoleon Hill, author of “THINK AND GROW RICH” who sold over 15million copies in the last 65years. I read the above book three times in order to diffuse the power at which the mind operates. It worth reading the fourth time. Get this book to understand the operation of the mind and the asset you have in you that will make your life count. YOU HAVE A POTENTIAL TALENT WITHIN STOP WASTING IT!</p>
<p>Success is not an accident, it is workable. To get it short, nobody is born success but everyone works out his/her success. Your success in life has nothing to do if you are a graduate, undergraduate, has no level of education, rich or poor etc but it stand on your understanding on how it works. “LOOKOUT FOR THOSE WHO THROUGH FAITH AND PATIENCE OBTAINED THAT WHICH YOU DESIRE AND DO WHAT THEY DID” that’s it for you. Your profession is not guaranteed, your ability alone is not enough and your skill can fail you if you are not careful. If someone like brain tracy, an American motivational speaker who has low level of education in his formal days can turn an outstanding speaker today in the world, what about you?</p>
<p>Nobody is born success, everybody works his way to success. Know this now, the webmaster of www.smallbusinessdigest.info has only but secondary school level of education at the time of writing this article but yet people with higher level of education thank him for his write up. <p>I learnt from observation that I needed to motivate my readers for this year and every successful business person is motivational. So to start a successful year, you need to get motivated in your business, finances, carrier, marital life and personal life.
