Handling Your Buyer
In business the buyer has the most priority. He can also be called the market determiner, this is because he has the greatest say to the business. What makes a business is sales. NO sales, NO business. A business remain a waste of time if you cannot generate sales from it-IT NOTHING BUT A WASTE OF TIME. While sales are determine by the buyer[Your potential customers]. If this particular set of people are not well handled, your business will suffer deficit.
Understanding the fact that your customer is your biggest target in terms of business, you should learn on how to handle them, in other words, pet them. One of the best way to do this is building relationship with them. In a quick summary, this is how to build a concrete relationship with your buyers: 1. be polite and honest- This will help to build trust. 2. Buy them a cup of coffee- This shows caring and respect as well. 3. Always put smile at their face-The Greatest weapon. No body wants to be burden, so always make them smile.
Put the above listed ways of handling your buyers, you are sure of repeat sales in business. Here is the business patter- BUSINESS+SALES=PROFIT BUSINESS+UNIQUE CUSTOMERS=SALES.
This is what it takes be it online or offline, always bear it in mind that your customers are the sales you make. Go hunt for them, the higher the number, the higher your sales.

I am afraid that sales are going to be hard to make these days, but it can be done with a good plan.

I have to agree with Robin on this one. You can follow these steps, which will help you, but the fact is that people have a lot less money to spend these days. Business + Sales = Profit, but Business + no-money = Unprofitable

In these type of situations… the one thing you need to do is keep good customer relations with your buyers of the product. This way, even though sales era has gone done a bit, you can still generate sales through people you already have relationships with. Also “the customer is always right” is one of the most phrases used in businesses, and it’s the truth. Regardless, you want to build up those relationships and have people coming back. Sometimes you might even have to take a small small loss in order to do so.
