Listening to news this day, all we hear about people loosing their jobs, stock market and real estate crashes and now….you want to start your own business? Well, it can happen to be the best decision you will ever took but you need to understand that things don’t just happen, they are made to happen. This should sound as a word of motivation to energize you, tell me how you feel
Being proactive in times like this is probably a good mood to situate with in order to survive. proactiveness in and of itself is not going to get you extremely far in running a successful small business. There is always a need to plan because lack of planning has break so many small businesses around the globe. Therefore, planning before a business start-up is the ”skeletal system of the human” in business. Just as man will not survive without a skeleton, so does it appear difficult for a business void of plans to survive and last long. Hence, planning is the initial stage in running a successful small business.
Please note here that we are not over looking the significancy of action. I will rather call it a ”call to action” Which can best be describe as working towards your written business plan for success.
NB: your call to action constitute about 60% of your success in area of business growth.
The question is this, what happened to the remaining 40%? Where will you fix them? How will you go about it? Knowing that this is true in business, then consider taking these small business success steps into consideration as an oppotunity in setting up a well undenieable business plan.
Knowing that paln is the first thing to consider in starting up a business, below are ideas that guarantee success in planning to run a successful small business.
Idea No.1 – With a very short time, Summarize your core advantages over your competitors. What products or services do you offer and why should people buy your offer? What will your prospects benefits from your offer? and why must they buy from you? This must be answered in order to assure a successful business.I
Idea No. 2 – What is your target market and how you will reach the interested buyers. What means of awareness creation are you using? The Radio, Printing of handbills or through banner placement. How will you go about it? What are your backup plans if you happen to fail? These questions should be in order because there is on business without a good customer base.
Idea No. 3 – Create a customer follow up list. think about maintaining a customer list that you can market to again and again for more and easier profits. A customer that has bought from you is more likely to buy from you again if they know you and like you.
Idea No.4 – Break your plan to daily basis activities – make sure that these daily activities are all income producing and as well in accordance with your goals. Follow this plan until you begin to see the slight success that will be coming out of it then don’t change but add more effort.
Idea No. 5 – You must Practice your path, every success step should be put into consideration and don’t forget to learn as you proceed.
Above are but few consideration for planning a successful small business start-up plans. There are so much to do at the cause of your start-up but here are just few plans you can work from and later expand to a higher one.
